Diego is a Senior Policy Advisor at the Regulatory Horizons Council, an independent expert committee sponsored by the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, where he advises the UK Government on regulatory reform to support the safe and rapid development of emerging technologies. He recently led the publication of a report on the regulation of neurotechnology. Previously, he worked at the UK Government Office for Science and at the GSMA, the global association representing the mobile telecommunications industry. Diego holds a Master’s degree in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge, supported by a scholarship from Fundación Rafael del Pino, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Philosophy from King’s College London.
