Jim Waterson es un periodista británico, actualmente editor de medios de The Guardian. Fue el editor político británico de Buzzfeed de 2013 a 2017 y anteriormente trabajó en City AM, cubriendo política y negocios. Waterson se graduó el Jesus College, Oxford en 2011, con un título en Historia. Representó a la universidad en la serie 2009-10 de University Challenge. Ha presentado Week in Westminster en BBC Radio 4 y apareció en Moral Maze en febrero de 2017.
