He has worked as Director of the Department for the Promotion of Competition at the CNMC and the National Competition Commission (CNC) (2011-2017). He has been Deputy Director General of Merger Reports at the Competition Court (2003-2006) and member of the Advisory Board of the Competition Court (1998-1999). Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Spanish Embassy in Italy, Milan (2006-2011) and at the Spanish Embassy in Poland, Warsaw (1999-2003). Specialised in competition policy, efficient economic regulation, public sector reform and public policy. Currently learning about the role of the public sector in R&D&I.
