The Rafael del Pino Foundation organises the Inicia Programme with the aim of bringing the reality of entrepreneurship and business closer to young people in the 3rd and 4th years of ESO, basic vocational training, training cycles and the 1st and 2nd years of baccalaureate.
The INICIA programme has two strands: INICIA, the value of entrepreneurship e INICIA, value of the company.
Public, state-subsidised and private schools in the Community of Madrid take part.

Description
We go to the classroom with volunteers - entrepreneurs and CSR managers - to help students discover the values of entrepreneurs through a dialogue format; and through a case study format we get students to put themselves in the role of managers to make decisions in real contexts, thus raising awareness of the Global Compact Principles and the SDGs.
The Rafael del Pino Foundation organises the Inicia Programme in two ways:
INITIATES entrepreneur values
Aimed at young people in the 3rd and 4th years of ESO, basic vocational training and training cycles, the main activity consists of a dialogue with an entrepreneur, in which he explains the importance of business in society, describes his experiences in the company and accompanies the students in a reflection on the necessary skills: creativity, innovation, effort, leadership, etc., trying to awaken interest in the world of business among young people. The activity is a unique opportunity to raise awareness among students and the educational society by giving a first-person view of the business reality, through the active tool of dialogue.
INITIA company values
Aimed at young people in the 1st and 2nd years of high school, the main activity consists of a debate-dialogue between a business leader from the Corporate Social Responsibility area of their company, exposing students to the reality of business through a simulation game, directly involving the business and educational community in an experience of social transformation, value and motivation. Students are faced with situations in which, emulating companies, they must make decisions linked to the values of business sustainability promoted by the United Nations Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals. The aim is to bring the reality of the company closer to the students.
After the face-to-face sessions, we propose challenges to the students: to identify a value of the entrepreneur and work on a project to promote it; and to select an SDG and build a project to make this choice a reality.
The winners of the Challenge receive a prize (iPad and 3D printer, depending on the case) at a ceremony at the headquarters of the Rafael del Pino Foundation.
